The Boston Celtics interim head coach Joe Mazzulla was interviewed following the Celtics’ 125-114 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night. Jaylen Brown scored season-high 41 points and Jayson Tatum added 31 for Boston.

NOLA was without stars Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram, and Boston took care of business to notch their fourth straight win. The Celtics will have a quick turnaround and face the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday at the Barclays Center.

Joe Mazzulla spoke on the Celtics’ leading duo – Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, and credited their teamwork and awareness of each other and playing together:

“To get to that point in your career when you know you need each other and you know you need your teammates – it’s a very powerful thing,” Mazzulla said.
