Stephen Curry’s status was shifted to “probable” in the Golden State Warriors Tuesday matchup against the Phoenix Suns, per ESPN’s Kendra Andrews.

This recent status can only hand such great optimism for the Warriors, as Curry was re-evaluated last weekend and is initially being targeted to make a return later this week against the San Antonio Spurs.

Curry has been absent from Golden State’s lineup since sustaining a shoulder injury last Dec. 14 against the Indiana Pacers.

Still, the club had a fair 6-5 record upon his inactivity and now sits seventh in the West with a 20-20 card behind the increased productions of Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson, and Donte DiVincenzo.

Before being sidelined, the reigning Finals MVP is averaging 30.0 points, 6.8 assists, and 6.6 boards in 26 games played. He is also shooting 43.4 percent from a three-point distance.
