Anthony Davis is trending up toward his recovery progress, with the pain in his right foot continuing to subside, per ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.

With this, Davis is planning to enter his ramp-up activities in order to make a return when the Los Angeles Lakers come back home later this week from their brief road trip that starts this Monday against the Denver Nuggets.

The star big man sustained a bone spur fracture in his right foot, even worsened by a stress reaction that has been the main priority to be addressed in his current recovery.

Davis gained the injury on Dec. 16 against the Nuggets, wherein his unavailability came in a very much unfortunate scenario. Prior to being sidelined, he is feasting with 27.4 points average to go with 12.1 boards, 2.1 blocks, and an extremely efficient 59.4 percent shooting from the field.

Amid his absence, LeBron James and the Lakers are doing a spectacular job in holding their line in L.A., winning seven of their 12 games since then while currently riding a solid five-game win streak.
