They won all four quarters to reach the 3rd win in four games. A win next week would secure CSKA a place in quarter finals. Žalgiris couldn't stop Real Madrid in Kaunas Sports Hall and suffered their third loss. The first quarter promised a close game as it ended 14-14. Real Madrid were more successive in offence in the 2nd. The score was 30-44 for Spanish and ULEB Cup champions. In the second half every effort from Žalgiris to come closer was stopped by Real Madrid. That was only the 2nd loss for Žalgiris at home in 9 Euroleague games this season.
