The Indiana Pacers will capitalize on every ounce of Myles Turner should they fail to reach an extended partnership.

According to Matt Moore of Action Network, while there are already negotiations for another deal, multiple sources still believe that the Pacers will ultimately ship out Turner if they won’t be able to agree on their terms and conditions.

This comes in with no such surprise and further questions. With no extension, Turner will be an unrestricted free agent. Indiana cannot let him walk freely and the franchise brass can capitalize on his value for more pieces that can help their future.

Being one of the most notable trade rumor targets within the league, Turner is certainly an attractive asset for the Pacers. The big man’s shot-blocking ability and sweet shooting are truly admirable and sophisticatedly great to match with playoff and title contenders.

As such, both sides have every reason to reach an agreement for a potential extension. The Pacers are currently within the postseason picture at the top seven of the East, and this won’t be possible if the veteran is having the best season of his career, as Turner is averaging a career-high 16.7 points, 7.9 boards, 2.2 blocks, and 39.8 percent shooting from three.
