Myles Turner delivered a heartfelt message to Indiana Pacers fans on social media, reflecting on his 10 seasons with the franchise as he departs for the Milwaukee Bucks. The veteran center’s post captured his appreciation for the city, the team, and the fans who supported him since his arrival in 2015.

“10 years. One jersey. One city. It’s hard to put into words what the past 10 seasons and past 10 years of my life has meant to me,” Turner wrote, recounting his journey from “a teenager out of Bedford Texas to the MAN and player I am today.”

Turner acknowledged the sacrifices he made for the Pacers and the challenges he faced along the way, noting: “I NEVER took the easy way out, I took the criticism on the chin, bit my tongue to complain and just kept my head down and grinded through it all and in the end…. it was ALL so worth it.”

The 29-year-old shared vivid memories of his life in Indianapolis, mentioning local landmarks and favorite spots such as Mass Ave, Eagle Creek Park, Long’s Bakery, and Fountain Square. “It’s the little things I’m going to miss the most,” he said.

Turner also expressed gratitude to Pacers supporters for their loyalty, writing: “Pacers fans — been an absolute privilege to play at Bankers Life/Gainbridge Fieldhouse…. you’ve been loyal through it all. You packed the Fieldhouse, rocked with me on the road, liked me when I needed it most, and held me accountable when I needed that too.”

Addressing the city itself, Turner added: “To the city of Indianapolis, thank you for pouring into me as a PERSON, not just a player. This city is special, the heart of basketball has and always will live in Indy.”

The two-time league blocks leader and 2024–25 NBA Finals participant signed a four-year, $107 million contract with Milwaukee on July 7, ending his tenure with the Pacers after helping lead them to the NBA Finals this past season.
