Devin Booker has been out for the last three games with a groin injury. The 26-year-old shooting guard is getting closer to being ready to play.
Suns head coach Monty Williams provided an update on the recovery of his team’s leading scorer.
“He’s been shooting the last couple of days,” Williams said, per Geral Bourguet. “Not moving as much, but is progressing a bit…he’s chomping at the bit. As you can imagine, Book’s frustrated when he can’t play.”
This season Booker is averaging 28 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 35.6 minutes per game.
