After accomplishing his 5-on-5 workout today, Milwaukee Bucks swingman Joe Ingles is slated to make his season debut on Monday against the New Orleans Pelicans, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wojnarowski already reported on Friday that Ingles was indeed targeting a return on Monday, but his recent completion of this weekend workout ultimately makes him good to go.

Ingles missed the early portion of this 2022-23 season as he recovered from a left knee ACL tear that he sustained last season as a member of the Utah Jazz. His unavailability became a reason for Utah to flip him and ship to the Portland Trail Blazers in midseason.

As he became a free agent, Ingles went on to sign with the Bucks, accepting the team’s $6.48MM mid-level exception for one year.

A proven veteran and a spectacular fan-favorite when he was a Jazzman, Ingles is expected to bring that added shooting, playmaking, and leadership to the Bucks, who are vying to be back at the top of the league following their 2021 title run.

Last campaign, Ingles averaged 7.2 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.9 boards in 45 games. He has a career 40.8 percent three-point shooting efficiency per 5.0 attempts, making him a useful asset moving forward for Milwaukee.
