Victor Wembanyama, the projected number one pick of the 2023 NBA Draft, continues to impress in the French league (LNB).

Actor Michael Douglas attended one his games – against Monaco – in which the 18-year-old forward/center scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Douglas was asked about the French prospect during the game.

“He is impressive,” the actor said, per HoopsHype. “He moves beautifully, and has a very nice family, and his brother is very talented, I wish him the best. I’m a big basketball fan and he would be my number one draft choice.

Douglas also revealed what suggestion he gave to Wembanyama for his first NBA team. “I’m a Miami Heat fan, I don’t think they have a chance, I told Victor, ‘you should go to Florida,'” he said.

Currently Wembanyama leads LNB in three categories – points, rebounds and blocks as he is averaging 23.6 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game. In addition, he has the highest player index in the league with 26.9.
