The Lakers snapped a three-game losing streak with a win over the Pistons (124-117). It was a tight contest right till the end.

With 12 seconds left to play in the fourth quarter, Los Angeles held a two-point advantage as LeBron James tried to play pick and roll with Anthony Davis and then drove to the paint and kicked it out to Austin Reaves in the corner.

The 24-year-old shooting guard banged a dagger three-pointer to give his team a five-team lead (122-117) and securing the win. After the game he talked about how James has been criticized for not forcing a shot late in games and instead making the right play.

“Bron’s been very criticized his whole career for making the right basketball play late in games instead of forcing a shot,” Reaves said postgame. “You know when you’re playing with him he’s gonna make the right basketball play. And that’s what you want your leader to do, one of your best players to do. When you’re on the court in that situation, you just got to stay locked in and make a shot.”
