Dunking and Blake Griffin were synonymous just a few years ago. There are countless highlights online of the former number one draft pick making impressive dunks.

However, the last couple of years he has been hit with knee injuries that has limited his athleticism. Most recently Griffin started for the fourth time this season for the Celtics.

He scored 13 points, grabbed 8 assists and dished out 2 assists in 32 minutes of play. Two of those points was a dunk – a rarity in Griffin’s repertoire. He joked after the game about his dunks.

“I figure if I dunk once a game people will stop acting like it’s a miracle,” the 33-year-old forward said, per Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe.

This season Griffin is averaging 5.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 14.7 minutes per game.
