Almost a month ago the Warriors sent James Wiseman to their G League affiliate the Santa Cruz Warriors to get more playing time.
It appears that the former number two draft pick could be close to re-joining Golden State. According to the Dubs’ head coach Steve Kerr, the team will reassess the center in the coming days.
“He had a really good practice and scrimmage just now, and we’ll reassess in the next few days,” Kerr said, per Dalton Johnson.
This season Wiseman is averaging 6.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1 assist in 13.4 minutes per game for Golden State. Over 7 games in the G League the 21-year-old center averaged 15.6 points and 10.1 rebounds in 26.6 minutes per game.
