It has been a while since Kevin Durant won his first and so far the only MVP award. He was still with the Thunder when that happened in 2014.

This year the two-time NBA champion is producing MVP-caliber numbers. Most recently he scored 45 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 5 assists, leading the Nets past the Magic.

“Nah, not really. I’ve been there, done that to be honest,” the KD said when asked if he is motivated to win another MVP.

“I know it’s going to take a lot from me to be in that conversation. I just want the respect from my fanbase and I want them to have a good time when they come to the game.”

This season Durant is averaging 30 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 36.7 minutes per game for Brooklyn.
