Rick Carlisle believes that Tyler Herro truly possesses a special talent.

Speaking on pregame of the Indiana Pacers-Miami Heat Friday bout, Carlisle provides praise on Herro’s development and potential of being an All-Star-calibre player.

“He can do just about anything on the floor offensively,” Carlisle said of Herro, via Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald. “He has All-Star ability for sure.”

Herro, 22, is the reigning Sixth Man of the Year of last season. But he certainly has a skill set that can reach greater heights than that.

In his first year enjoying a full-time starting assignment, Herro is compiling solid numbers. Throughout nine games so far this season, he is averaging 18.6 points, 6.6 boards, 2.3 assists in a career-high 47.8 shooting.

With him being locked with the franchise for years to come after inking a hefty rookie scale extension last month, Herro is set to rise in achieving new goals for his career filled with promise.
