San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said that Romeo Langford could very well be the team’s best on-ball defender this season following Sunday’s home win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

(via Bally Sports San Antonio/hat tip to NBA on ESPN):

“He might be our best on-ball defender. He just might be. He’s got quick feet. He’s got long arms. He anticipates really well. He did a fine job. Edwards almost got away from us there for a while, and we ended up doing a pretty good job on him down the stretch. He and Karl-Anthony Towns are special talents and I think our aggressiveness got us through.”
