Luguentz Dort received a huge praise from superstar Luka Doncic for his defensive abilities. The Slovenian called the 23-year-old small forward one of the top three defenders in the NBA after the Mavericks lost against the Thunder.
Doncic, who had a triple-double of 31 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists in 40 minutes of play, talked about Dort after the game.
“He’s a great defender,” Luka said about his opponent. “I think he’s one of the top three defenders in the NBA. It’s really tough to play against him. He’s been doing an incredible job since I’ve been here.”
This season the Thunder forward is averaging 14 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.7 steals in 32.2 minutes per game.
