Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups has been impressed with #7 pick Shaedon Sharpe’s freakish athleticism on both ends.

“I think he’s one of those guys that’s going to be able to use his athleticism on both ends of the floor. He’s really long. He’s an incredible shot blocker already, never out of a play. He goes and meets guys up at the square. It’s unbelievable, the instincts that he has on that end. Now, positioning, understanding the guys, he’s nowhere on that. But, he shouldn’t be. Everything is new for him. But when he gets a lot more familiar, he’s going to be a very, very good defender.”
