The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed forward Garrison Brooks to a contract.

Brooks, 6-9, 230-pounds, played one season at Mississippi State University (2021-22) as a graduate senior, recording 10.4 points and 6.6 rebounds over 30.3 minutes in 34 games (all starts).

Prior to his time in Starkville, he played four seasons at the University of North Carolina and averaged 9.6 points, six rebounds, and 1.3 assists over 24.6 minutes in 133 games (108 starts).

During his junior season, he registered career highs of 16.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, and two assists over 34.9 minutes in 32 games (31 starts) en route to being named 2019-20 ACC Most Improved Player and All-ACC Second Team.
