With Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert already out, Jordan Clarkson is now being targeted by several teams as a potential asset to claim on the camp of the Utah Jazz.
Sources told Brett Siegel of Fastbreak on FanNation that the Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors have expressed their initial interest to go for Clarkson.
Utah is poised to go for a fire sale soon following the shipping of their former two cornerstones in Mitchell and Gobert. With long-term rebuild coming in, Clarkson together with other rumored assets like Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic, doesn’t fit very well on their motives to tank and develop up and coming players for a new era of Jazz basketball.
Clarkson, 30, is a proven microwave scorer boasting that 2021 Sixth Man of the Year trophy. He pulled off a 16-point average last season added by 3.5 boards and 2.5 assists in 79 games.
He remains under contract with a player option for 2023-2024 campaign, and his scoring punch will be crucial for teams seeking greater contention
