The Utah Jazz didn’t miss an opportunity to express their love and appreciation for the departing Donovan Mitchell.

The franchise wrote a touching note on Twitter, thanking Mitchell for his contributions on and off the court and the growth he had throughout the years – from being their standout rookie entering 2017-18 season into a three-time All-star.

Mitchell initially penned a post expressing also his gratitude for Utah and former mentor Quin Snyder.

Mitchell was shipped to Cleveland Cavaliers for Lauri Markkanen, Ochai Agbaji, a signed-and-traded Collin Sexton, three unprotected first-round picks (2025, 2027 and 2029) and two unprotected pick swaps (2026 and 2028).

Since being drafted as the 13th pick of 2017 Draft, he helped the franchise to reach five-straight postseason appearances from 2018 to 2022.
