Draymond Green gave his advice to young players that dream of making the NBA. The four-time NBA champion who is one of the three pillars of the Warriors, along with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, emphasized the importance for players to find their role and excel at it.

“At the end of the day, motherf*cker got to play a role in the NBA,” Green told at Rico Hines basketball camp, via Ballislife. “It’s 2 motherf*ckers on a team that can do what the f*ck they wanna do and 13 motherf*ckers that got to play a role. You got to master your role or get the f*ck out!”

Green’s message is similar to that of Patrick Beverley who also stressed how knowing one’s role and being good at it is key to having a successful career in the NBA.
