Earlier this summer Chet Holmgren entered the NBA as the second overall draft pick by the Thunder. The 20-year-old center is yet to play his first game in the league, but three years ago he had a chance to play against one of its superstars.

After graduating Minnehaha Academy in 2019 Holmgren participated in Steph Curry’s camp where he used the Warriors superstar’s move against him. He crossed Curry before going for a dunk.

The four-time NBA champion was asked about this episode which went viral back in 2019. Curry did not forget it.

“Chet hit me with my own move, little double behind the back … he finished it differently than I would though, I would have just pulled up from 3, he went to the basket and dunked on another dude. It’s pretty dope that he’s now in the league as the No. 2 pick,” Steph said, per Angelo Guinhawa of ClutchPoints.
