This year’s EuroBasket could be marked by a unique occurrence as four brothers could be playing for a single national team. Two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo could be joined by his three brothers – Thanasis, Kostas and Alex – on Greece national team.
Giannis and Thanasis are not the only NBA champions in the family. His younger brother Kostas was part of the Lakers team that won a championship in 2020.
Greece will start EuroBasket in Group C with Italy, Croatia, Ukraine, Great Britain and Estonia. The games will be played in Milan, Italy.
