Anthony Edwards thinks that the Timberwolves could have handled their first round series against the Grizzlies much better. Minnesota won Game 1 and led the series 2-1 before losing three games in a row and getting eliminated.

The 20-year-old small forward used an illustrative analogy to explain how easily his team gave the series away. Edwards compared to taking a candy from a baby.

Over the six playoff games he was the clear leader of the Timberwolves averaging 25.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3 assists in 37.8 minutes per game.

Speaking of the playoffs, do you still think of your loss to the Grizzlies and feel like y’all gave the series away?
Man, I feel like we handed it to them man. It was like taking candy from a baby and they took the candy. We had every game won man and I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what happened.
