Anthony Edwards delivered another signature performance Tuesday night, scoring 41 points to lift the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 117-110 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at Target Center.

Minnesota trailed by 11 in the first half but responded with defensive pressure and late-game shot-making to secure its fourth straight win and seventh in eight games. The result keeps the Timberwolves fourth in the Western Conference at 39-23.

Edwards shot 15-for-29 from the field and 7-for-13 from 3-point range, adding six rebounds and five steals in 37 minutes. It marked his ninth 40-point game of the season.

The All-Star guard scored 13 points in the fourth quarter, including three 3-pointers, as Minnesota created separation after Memphis trimmed the margin to four in the final minute.

Julius Randle provided interior balance with 23 points and 11 rebounds. The veteran forward went 9-for-12 from the free-throw line and helped Minnesota dominate the glass 52-33.

Ayo Dosunmu added 14 points off the bench, while Jaden McDaniels contributed 16 on 6-for-8 shooting. Rudy Gobert anchored the paint with 12 rebounds as the Wolves turned second-half stops into transition chances.

Minnesota shot just 3-for-16 from beyond the arc in the first half and entered the break trailing 62-57. Edwards accounted for all three first-half 3-pointers as the offense struggled to find rhythm.

The Timberwolves tightened up defensively in the third quarter and pulled even at 72-72. Edwards converted a layup to give Minnesota a 74-72 edge, and the home side did not trail again.

Memphis, which fell to 23-37, received 19 points from Jaylen Wells, including 15 in the first half. Cedric Coward added 15 points off the bench, and Ty Jerome chipped in 14.

The Grizzlies shot 46% overall and 15-for-38 from deep but were outrebounded and could not generate consistent stops late. A 12-2 run in the closing minute cut the deficit to four, yet the rally stalled.

Minnesota overcame 16 turnovers and limited Memphis to one shot on most fourth-quarter possessions. The Wolves finished with 13 offensive rebounds and 39 defensive boards, controlling the possession battle.

Kyle Anderson returned to Minnesota’s rotation one day after rejoining the club following his release by Memphis. He scored two points in 13 minutes against his former team.
