Bam Adebayo has no choice but to shrug off the ongoing rumblings regarding his involvement in the trade rumors.

“It is what it is, control what you can control,” said Adebayo, via Ira Winderman of South Florida Sun-Sentinel. “Obviously it’s an opportunity for something, but in my opinion, control what you can control. I can’t control that.”

The big man has been the focal point of the Miami-Brooklyn murmurs, wherein he is being viewed as a prized asset for the Nets in order to consider the shipping of Kevin Durant to South Beach.

Now entering his sixth year and just keeps improving, there’s no doubt that his value is literally sky high, as he just averaged 19.1 points, 10.1 boards, 3.4 assists, in 55.7 shooting from the field last season.

“So do what I’ve been doing. I get up early. I work out. Having fun with these kids. And I’m going to go home and go to sleep.”
