The Brooklyn Nets have their eyes on Bam Adebayo from the rumored Kevin Durant-seeking Miami Heat.

As such, per Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer (credit to HoopsHype), they won’t express their interest in shipping Durant to South Beach until the club includes the big man for a potential proposal.

“And with Kevin Durant, I mean, just from my conversations with people around the situation, I just don’t see Brooklyn having any real interest in any Miami package that doesn’t bring back Bam Adebayo.”

Fischer already noted that Miami is more focused on acquiring Durant rather than Utah Jazz star guard Donovan Mitchell. As such, the asking price of Brooklyn may seem too steep to go through for Pat Riley.

Since starting his career in the 2017-2018 season out of Kentucky, Adebayo is making huge strides year-by-year for the Heat, serving as the club’s undisputed paint mainstay.

Adebayo had a 2021-2022 regular season average of 19.1 points, 10.1 boards, 3.4 assists while shooting 55.7 percent from the floor for the Heat.
