The Heat are reportedly prepared to make a serious effort to try to get Kevin Durant via a trade. It has been reported that Miami is looking for multiple first-round picks that could be sent to Brooklyn for the two-time NBA champion.

Miami has an advantage over other teams because it is one of the top two Durant’s preferred trade destinations, the other being Phoenix.

Heat guard Max Strus is aware of these rumors, but tries not to get into too much. According to him, Durant is the kind of player that any team would want to have on its roster.

“I try not to get too into it. Obviously you see it, and people ask you about it. But I’ll wait until it happens. If something happens, it happens. If something happens, it happens. But, yeah, how can you not want a guy like Kevin Durant? He’s a once-in-a-generation type player and great player in the game and one of the best of all time. I’m excited to see what happens and I hope the best for him and the best for our team. That’s all that really matters.”
