Both the Atlanta Hawks and the San Antonio Spurs remained engaged in discussing a possible big-time transaction sooner than later.

As mentioned by Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the two are keeping in touch regarding a “larger deal” which banners Dejounte Murray and John Collins.

The Spurs unexpectedly made Murray available in the trade market, as Fischer noted last week that the franchise is looking for three first-round picks to ship the one-time All-star away to Texas.

Meanwhile, Collins has been the Hawks’ focal trade chip all season long, as both sides are rumored ready to part ways this offseason.
