WNBA All-Star and two-time Olympic gold medalist Brittney Griner, 31, was arrested at Moscow airport on February 18 for allegedly bringing vape cartridges containing hash oil – which is illegal in Russia – into the country.
Griner will attend a preliminary hearing in Moscow on Monday morning, her lawyer told ABC News on Sunday night, via Yahoo Sports.
She has already had her pre-trial detention extended through July 2. It’s unclear what will be determined at Monday’s preliminary hearing.
