New Orleans Pelicans GM Trajan Langdon talked about the impact Dyson Daniels can bring with his length and intensity on defense.

“That was a big factor for us with Dyson. Herb takes on the brunt of a lot of defensive guys that we have to guard every night, night in and night out. Dyson is a guy that can guard 1’s, 2’s, and 3’s as well. So hopefully it won’t be Herb taking on the brunt of those matchups every night, every game, first and second lineups. We’re very excited with Dyson because that’s what he wants, he wants the best guy every night. When he played with the Ignite, he had the toughest matchup on the other side of the perimeter. So we’re really excited to have him in.”
