Otto Porter Jr. (left foot injury) is unavailable to play for the Golden State Warriors’ Game 4 West Finals matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, team insider Anthony Slater reported on Tuesday upon the announcement of Steve Kerr.

“He’s still sore,” Kerr said about the forward’s availability. “Gotta make the wise decision here. This gives him a couple of days to prepare for a possible Game 5.”

Porter has been dealing with plenty of injury woes this postseason, including a left heel injury that kept him out in the Warriors’ series-clinching Game 6 against the Memphis Grizzlies in the West Semifinal round.

In a total of 13 playoff games throughout the 2021-2022 season, Porter Jr. is averaging 5.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. As such, holding an empathic 3-0 series lead, Golden State will look to close out the Conference Finals saga against the Mavs to advance to their sixth NBA Finals in eight years.
