Rick Carlisle was the first NBA coach who got the chance to work with Luka Doncic when he arrived in the league in 2018. He got to witness the talent of the you Slovenian star and has no doubt that a bright future is ahead of him.

“I don’t have any question in my mind that there will be multiple MVPs in his future. There will be championships in his future. He has a real, great, natural sense for the moment,” Carlisle said on 105.3 The Fan, per Callie Caplan.

This past season Doncic averaged 28.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 8.7 assists in 35.4 minutes per game. He led the Mavericks to the Western Conference Finals – the furthest the team has gone since the 2011 championship year.
