According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Brooklyn Nets star guard Ben Simmons will undergo surgery on his back on Thursday.
Simmons, who hasn’t played since the 2020-21 NBA playoffs, will undergo a “microdiscectomy procedure” to “alleviate pain caused by the herniated disc” in his back.
