The Suns lost their star Devin Booker in Game 2 of the first round series against the Pelicans. According to Draymond Green, this could give New Orleans a decisive advantage as they will be the team with the two best players on the court in Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum.
“That’s a big loss for Phoenix. That loss gives New Orleans the two best players on the court which is hard to overcome. No disrespect to Chris Paul,” Warriors forward said on his show.
Without Booker the Suns managed to narrowly defeat the Pelicans in Game 3 and they now lead the series 2-1. Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton led Phoenix in scoring with 28 points each.
