The Nuggets (6th seed) started first round playoff series with a loss against the Warriors (3rd seed). Denver’s star Nikola Jokic scored team-high 25 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 6 assists but it wasn’t enough to get the win.
After the game the Serbian center admitted that the Nuggets are underdogs in this series and the pressure is not on them. Jokic also pointed out that Denver had lost Game 1 is several series so they are used to being this position.
“The pressure is not on us. We are underdogs. But we got to act like dogs and fight,” the reigning NBA MVP said, per Ohm Youngmisuk.
