Tyrese Maxey overshadowed his superstar teammates Joel Embiid and James Harden as he dropped team-high 38 points in the 76ers win over the Raptors in Game 1 of the first round.
It was also season-high for the 21-year-old point guard who scored 33 points three times this year. According to Philadelphia’s head coach Doc Rivers, Maxey does not play with anxiety.
“He just doesn’t play with anxiety. That’s why we love him,” Rivers said, per Noah Levick.
