The Los Angeles Lakers point guard Kendrick Nunn, who missed the entire season due to a bone bruise in his knee, said it was “extremely frustrating” to not be able to play.

He did say that he’s finally “feeling pretty good,” and is confident he’ll be able to ramp up throughout the offseason to be ready for next season.

Nunn says he’ll pick up his $5 million player option for next season: “Knowing I just took this entire year off, it’s a no-brainer for me to opt-in.”

Before joining the Lakers, Kendrick Nunn played two seasons for the Miami Heat. He averaged 15.0 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in 123 regular-season games.
