Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens guard obtained the Round 1 MVP honors, as this was already his sixth MVP round honor in three seasons, following a stellar performance that helped his team secure wins.
The ex-NBA player led his team to an 87-79 home victory over FC Bayern Munich, where he dropped 21 points, 10 assists, three rebounds, shooting nine of 11 from two-point range and three of three from the free-throw line, finishing with a PIR of 29, the highest among all winning players in round 1.
Despite being undrafted in the 2018 NBA season and being directly sent into the G League, he earned a spot on the NBA’s All-Rookie First Team in the next season, averaging 15.3 points, 3.3 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game.
He last played for the Washington Wizards during the 2022-2023 season, followed by his signing with Panathinaikos in October 2023. This move helped his team win the 2024 EuroLeague championship, solidifying his status as one of the top American guards in Europe.
