The Nets defeated the Knicks behind 32 points from Kevin Durant who led all scorers. The two-time NBA champion has a special relationship with the Knicks fans due to his decision to got to Brooklyn instead of New York after he parted ways with the Warriors.

During the postgame press conference KD talked about the subject of how he is treated by the Knicks fans. “Imagine the tweets I’ve been getting since I decided to come to the Nets from Knicks fans,” Durant said, per Michael Scotto.

“They’re still pissed off about stuff I say and the little jabs here and there. It’s always love in the streets when I see Knicks fans. It’s a good rivalry to be a part of.”
