Tyler Herro scored 35 points off the Miami Heat bench to help his team to a 144-115 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night.

The total saw the third-year man, considered to be a lock for Sixth Man of the Year, tie Heat icon Dwyane Wade, who scored the same against the Toronto Raptors as a non-starter in 2018. Herro now has nine of the Heat’s 14 30-point games off the bench.

Meanwhile, Miami is looking to solidify its status as the No.1 seed in the Eastern Conference. They’re currently 2.5 games ahead of the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers while the Milwaukee Bucks are 3.0 games behind.

The Heat have two games left in the regular season and will play the Atlanta Hawks this Friday before closing things out against the Orlando Magic on Sunday.
