The Heat lost their second consecutive game as they were defeated by the Warriors (104-118). During a timeout an altercation ignited between veteran Udonis Haslem and Jimmy Butler. They had to be held apart by their teammates.

Miami’s head coach Erik Spoelstra also got involved as he had an exchange with Butler, trying to calm him down. After the game the coach attributed the tensions to the Heat playing poorly.

“We have a very competitive, gnarly group and we’re getting our asses kicked,” Spoelstra said. “Two straight games we were not playing to the level that we wanted to play. I would say personally every single person in that huddle was pretty animated about our disappointment and how we were playing.”

Despite the loss, the Heat remain at the top of the Eastern Conference with 47 wins and 26 losses. They are now just 1.5 games above the three teams below them though.
