Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic was fined by the league after his infamous confrontation with an Indiana Pacers fan on Sunday.
The NBA gives the Bosnian big a $40,000 punishment after approaching the fan in the sidelines and tossing its phone in the stands following the Indiana’s 129-98 home dub over Portland.
Nurkic remains on the sideline and may possibly not suit up again a Blazer uniform this season. He was ruled out last February for at least four weeks after sustaining a left foot plantar fasciitis injury. He has an average of 15.0 points in 53 percent efficiency, 11.0 boards and 2.8 assists in 56 games this 2021-2022 campaign.
