Russell Westbrook was one of the leaders for the Lakers in the narrow loss against the Warriors. The 33-year-old point guard scored 19 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 35 minutes of play.

It was his best performance in a while after a few disappointing games. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was happy after the game with the way the superstar played. “He was really locked in into what we were trying to do defensively and really talking to guys and leading,” he said.

“He played with a great competitive spirit, didn’t turn the ball over much and was efficient offensively. It’s just disappointing we didn’t get this W because I thought there were a lot of positive signs. But he was terrific tonight.
