The blockbuster trade that brought Russell Westbrook to the Lakers from the Wizards this past offseason was the biggest move in the NBA.
With the formation of the Big 3 of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Westbrook, Los Angeles instantly became the favorite to win it all this season. However, things have not gone as expected.
Fast forward to February and Westbrook’s name is being mentioned in trade rumors. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was asked about the possibility of Russ getting traded before the trade deadline following the loss against Portland.
In response to the question Vogel did not rule out such possibility. “If there’s ways to improve our team, we’ll improve our team,” he said. “Other than that, I got nothing to say about the trade deadline.”
