The top 3 placed teams of each qualifying tournament will qualify for FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022 in Sydney, Australia.

Both the USA, winners of the Tokyo 2020 Women’s Olympic Basketball Tournament, and Australia, the World Cup hosts, will play in the qualification tournaments, but are guaranteed berths in the World Cup regardless of their results.

If the USA or Australia were to finish outside the top three, only the top two teams from the respective group would qualify for the World Cup.

The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup will take place from September 22 – October 1, 2022.
