The Los Angeles Lakers are ruling out their superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis on their road game against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday.

Per team reporter Mike Trudell, James is still experiencing soreness in his left knee. Meanwhile, Davis had some pain in his right wrist. Nevertheless, head coach Frank Vogel is optimistic about both of them being available against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.

James sat down on the Lakers’ 105-87 loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday due to the said issue. Davis, who had a terrific individual night against Philly with 31 points and 12 boards, initially sustained a painful right wrist on the first period after a dunk against Joel Embiid.
