Rajon Rondo is expected to join the Cleveland Cavaliers after clearing the Health and Safety protocols on Sunday.

The Lakers and the Cavs have already agreed to a the trade. However, the deal couldn’t be finalized until the vateran guard cleared the protocols.

With the addition of Rajon Rondo, Cleveland aims to cover for the absence of Ricky Rubio, who is out with a season-ending knee injury. The Cavs currently are fifth in the East, at 20-16.
