NBA legend Tracy McGrady has expressed his intentions to construct a new league that will cater the 1-on-1 talents of basketball cagers.

As McGrady was in the star-studded panel of “NBA HooperVision” this Thursday, he told his co-hosts that he is under way of making a 1-on-1 professional basketball league which will be called OBA (Ones Basketball Association).

“I’m creating something, a one-on-one league that I’m creating — nationwide,” McGrady told Jamal Crawford and the rest of the show crew. “I am creating a 1-on-1 league, not a tournament, a league … 18 and up.”

“It wasn’t on the planned side, like if you wanna play, you play. It’s on the business side … It’s called OBA — Ones Basketball Association — coming to you.”

McGrady, an all-time great scoring machine, has unparalleled isolation schemes and bags of tricks which have left his opponents in awe. A Naismith basketball hall of famer, his talents in smashing the scoreboard is fortified by his back-to-back scoring titles in 2003 and 2004 during his playing days.

Truly, he is a fitting founder of this 1-on-1 league within his mind. While he only briefly introduced these plans, fans of the sport still have to watch out as it can definitely feature some of the best and most entertaining street ballers and hoopers in the world.
