Dwight Howard will start for the Los Angeles Lakers in the road game vs the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night.

Howard, who missed a few games because of the Covid-19 protocols, returns to the starting lineup and is expected to have significant playing time vs the Grizzlies.

Even though interim coach David Fizdale said the Lakers will play ‘a ton of small ball moving forward’, he also noted Howard and DeAndre Jordan will spend time on the floor vs Memphis.

The Lakers snapped a five-game losing streak on Tuesday and will now seek to win their second straight (17-18). For their part, the Grizzlies are fourth in the West, at 21-14, and have won two in a row.
